Noah F. Ives – President/Treasurer

Noah was raised on his family’s small dairy farm in Chenango County. In 2014 he graduated from SUNY Cobleskill with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business Management. Noah began his career in insurance with Nationwide Agribusiness conducting loss control inspections on farms across New York State.

Noah started working at Sauquoit Valley Insurance Co. in January 2015 as a licensed Property and Casualty Agent and Broker. In April 2022 Noah was appointed Vice President. The Board of Directors appointed him President/Treasurer in July of 2023.

Noah enjoys spending time with his family, working on his house and spending time outdoors. Noah lives in Remsen with his wife and children.

Theresa Abrams – Secretary/Bookkeeper

“I am excited to continue my career with new adventures in property and casualty insurance while being part of a local, community minded organization.”

Theresa’s insurance career began in 1993 with a college internship at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company where upon completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Service Management with a minor in Sociology, she was hired as a Workers’ Compensation claims associate. Following that she was a Regional Manager for Stedman & Garger Associates for 16 years where she reviewed Independent Medical Exam reports for quality and managed offices in Utica, Rome and Watertown. She then spent 11 years managing Mohawk Valley Health System’s primary care office in Waterville. In April 2023 Theresa was appointed Secretary by the Board of Directors.

She lives with her husband and two sons in Waterville. Most of her spare time is spent cheering on her boys at their football and basketball games. She also enjoys reading and traveling to the ocean.

Kelly DeRidder – Underwriter

Kelly previously worked in the banking industry for the past 6 years before joining us here at Sauquoit Valley Insurance Company as an Underwriter. Her banking career started in Lowville NY with Community Bank before moving back home, where she most recently worked for Adirondack Bank as a local Branch Supervisor. She was responsible for the day to day operations of the branch, including scheduling and auditing. Kelly also received recognition from the U.S Senate in regards to Fraud Prevention.

In her spare time you can most likely find her outside spending time with her family. If you can’t find her there, you might find her attending gymnastics with her daughter, tending to their chickens, or out on the four-wheeler. Kelly and Kevin reside in West Winfield with their daughter.

Morgan Diani – Agent

Morgan Diani grew up in a small community near Cherry Valley. She had a career in banking & finance, before beginning her career with Sauquoit Valley Insurance Co. Morgan is a licensed Property and Casualty Agent and Broker.

Morgan lives at home with her fiancé and 2 cats Lacey and Riggie. Morgan enjoys cooking for family and friends and spending time outdoors. Morgan is excited to kick off her career in a small community with a company who values their community.
